چکیده
This paper is concerned with the development of imaging methods to localize sources or reflectors in inhomogeneous moving media acoustic waves that have travelled through them. A typical example localization broadband a turbulent jet flow for aeroacoustic applications. The proposed algorithms are extensions Kirchhoff migration (KM) and coherent interferometry (CINT) which been considered smooth randomly quiescent so far. They constructed starting from linearized Euler equations perturbations about stationary ambient flow. model problem propagation generated by fixed point source an constant velocity addressed. Based on this result functions modify existing KM CINT account velocity. subsequently tested compared numerical simulations various configurations, including synthetic representative main features encountered actual flows.

Coherent Interferometric Imaging in Clutter
Coherent interferometry is an array imaging method in which we back propagate, or migrate, crosscorrelations of the traces over appropriately chosen space-time windows, rather than the traces themselves. The size of the space-time windows is critical and depends on two parameters. One is the decoherence frequency, which is proportional to the reciprocal of the delay spread in the traces produce...
متن کاملEnhanced Statistical Stability in Coherent Interferometric Imaging
We analyze the resolution and statistical fluctuations of images when the ambient medium is random and scattering can be modeled primarily by wavefront distortion. We compare the coherent interferometric imaging method to the widely used Kirchhoff migration and show how the latter loses statistical stability at an exponential rate with the distance of propagation. In Kirchhoff migration we form...
متن کاملCoherent interferometric imaging for synthetic aperture radar
This paper shows that the coherent interferometric imaging strategy originally proposed in the context of passive or active arrays of antennas can be implemented for synthetic aperture radar, in which a single antenna is used as an emitter and as a receiver at successive positions along a trajectory. The idea is to backpropagate the cross correlations of the recorded signals over selected frequ...
متن کاملAdaptive coherent interferometric imaging for sensor networks
A multi-step adaptive algorithm for imaging with distributed sensor networks is presented. The sensors record the impulse response of the unknown background medium with and without the scatterers to be imaged. The signal difference is used to image the scatterers with a three step algorithm. First, the decoherence frequency is estimated using adaptive coherent interferometry (CINT), with unifor...
متن کاملInterferometric Synthetic Aperture Microscopy: Computed Imaging for Scanned Coherent Microscopy
Three-dimensional image formation in microscopy is greatly enhanced by the use of computed imaging techniques. In particular, Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Microscopy (ISAM) allows the removal of out-of-focus blur in broadband, coherent microscopy. Earlier methods, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), utilize interferometric ranging, but do not apply computed imaging methods and the...
